Apple Silicon support is also much less of a question in 2026 than it was a few years ago, but you should still check the current version requirements of any application before a show.

If you already think in decks, clips, effects and performance controls, Arena gives you mapping without leaving the VJ environment. If you only need to align a few media surfaces, the broader show toolset may be more than you need.

3. HeavyM — approachable mapping with built-in visual creation
